Dr. Irving Domingo L. Rio
He is the Vice Pres for Academic Affairs, where the CLGIPS is directly under his office. He is the former chairperson of the Social Sciences Department. Founder of the Social Science Mobile Training team. He took his A.B Political Science, Master in Public Administration and his doctorate degree in Public Management at Central Philippine University. He conducted various researches in local governance and involving the Indigenous Peoples in central panay.
Dimpna C. Castigador
Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement.
She is the Consultant of CLGIPS.
She is also the Coordinator of the University partnership with World Bank – Philippines: the Knowledge for Development Community. She also serves as project liaison officer with the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia. She obtained her BS Chemical Engineering degree from Central Philippine University and her Masters in Engg degree (Industrial Engg and Management) from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. She has been involved in consultancy and training engagements with the German International Cooperation and USAID Be Secure and SURGE projects on streamlining of business permit and licensing system and on water security. She was ISO Project Director for the University prior to her current assignment. Prior to CPU, she was Logistics and Distribution Manager of Dole Asia-Philippines.
Prof. Renia F. De la Pena
Coordinator of the Center for local Governance and Indigenous Peoples Studies
Faculty of the Social Sciences Department.
She teaches Political Science and Public Administration subjects.  She took her A.B. in Political Science at Central Philippine University and her Masters in Public Administration at the University of San Agustin. She has been active in the Social Sciences Local Governance Mobile Training Team, which provides training and lectures among barangays  on the areas of Parliamentary Procedure, Barangay Justice System and Resolution making. Currently, a program proponent for the project “ Promoting Innovative Barangay Level Programs  to Service learning” funded by UBECHEA.
Prof. Emma T. Gico
Faculty of the College of Hospitality and Management, and member of CLGIPS Team.
Graduated, Master of Arts in Education at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City . She took her Bachelor of Science in Food and Technology at the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. Her special training includes, Applied Linguistic under the Summer Institute of Linguistics Fieldwork in Adult Literacy and Bible Translation in Lamut, Ifugao (Under the Translators Association of the Philippines.) Her research involvement include the following: Research Assitant in the NRCP Research Project “ A Sybmerge Process in the Production of Nata de Coco” ( Funded by the National Research Council of the Philippines, based at the College of Home Economics, UP Diliman, Quezon City. Study Leder II “ Formulation and Sensory Evaluation of Lemongrass Beverage Products” (Funded by the Commission on Higher Education) , based at Central Philippine University, Jaro, Iloilo City. Member of Reseach Team, In Study III, “ Package Development and Shelf-life Testing of Lemongrass Beverage Products” (Funded by the Commission on Higher Education ), Based at CPU, Jaro, Iloilo City. Research Project Leader, “ Indigenous Rice Wine Making in Central Panay” (Funded by the Commission on Higher Education ), Based at CPU, Jaro, Iloilo City.
Corazon G. Nievales
Faculty of Soc. Sci. Department and Senior High Department.
Obtained he AB History at CPU and M. A. History at Sillimar University. She joined the Center of Local Governance and Indigenous People Studies and knowledge for Development Center (CLGIPS).  Her research and teachings interest are on Indigenous Issues.
Freddie S. Salvania
He is the Program Manager of CPU- Katin-aran Center, Board Member/ Treasurer of Iloilo ICODE NGO’s Inc., Board Member/ Treasurer of of Western Visayas Network of NGO’s (WeVNet), member of CLGIPS team and Proctor of Franklin dormitory. He took his Diploma in Local Governance and Diploma in Christian Ministry at Central Philippine University, where he also graduated his Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Myrna T. Luceño
Dr. Lucio C.Tan College of Hospitality Management, College Coordinator and University committee member of the Community Engagement and Service Learning, member of (CLPIPS) and Biodiversity on Wheels (BOW). She obtained her Master of Science in Business Administration from The Philippine Women’s University, Master of Science in Home Economics from Western Visayas College of Science and Technology and her BS Secondary Education degree from Central Philippine University. She has been involved in community service, training and research.
